The works are part of Norfolk County Council’s Local Growth Fund initiative to improve public transport in the town.
New shelters, railings, cycle hoops and lighting are being installed to improve waiting facilities for passengers.
Stand A has now been completed, but stands B and C will be closed until June 22, with buses picking up from temporary stop B on Regent Street.
Stand D will be closed until July 6 and buses will pick up at stand A.
Stand E will be closed until June 29 and buses will pick up at temporary stop C on Howard North Street, opposite the police station.
