England’s progression to the World Cup semi-final has seen a popular Great Yarmouth venue cancel the opening night of its summer show,

The Hippodrome’s Summer Circus and Water Spectacular was due to have its premiere performance on Wednesday night.

However it has been cancelled due to the World Cup clash, with all pre-booked customers contacted and moved to other shows.

Producer Jack Jay said: “We had a fantastic reception from these people who all appreciated that we had moved them to free up their England night.

“We had many people contacting us to say they wanted to move days, so we quickly got in touch and altered all the other seats and cancelled the Wednesday night show.”

The show runs until September 16 and features Mexican juggler Roberto Carlos and Sascha Williams, a semi-finalist in Britain’s Got Talent.

For ticket information and to book them call O1493 844172 or visit www.hippodromecircus.co.uk
