CHILDREN from Wroughton Middle School attended a musical event at Norfolk Showground - Making Tracks, which featured the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Robert Ziegler and presented by CBBC's Rani Price.
The children were introduced to different instruments within the orchestra, and had the excitement of listening to live orchestral sounds. They took part in singing, conducting and listening to music by Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens and Mozart. They also learned about film music and contemporary TV music which would give them ideas for their own compositions back at school.
The children, all talented musicians at Wroughton, were selected to take part because of their interest and commitment to music.
