Hospital Radio Yare sent its mascot Yare Bear on his annual foray into the James Paget University Hospital children’s ward to cheer up poorly youngsters over Easter.

Armed with sack loads of chocolate eggs the cuddly companion handed out the tasty goodies to grateful youngsters.

Among them was Jake Ring, seven, (pictured with play specialist Marie Cross and Yare Bear) who had fallen ill while on holiday in Yarmouth with his parents.
