Police investigating arson which forced a Great Yarmouth family to flee their home in the middle of the night have made a fresh appeal for witnesses.
The attack was shortly before midnight on Thursday. A disabled buggy was apparently set ablaze in the porch of a house in Rodney Road.
Australian-born teacher Giles Vanderwert, his French partner Francine Ejaz and their three children climbed out of a window, with the help of a neighbour, to escape smoke filling the house.
Det Insp Rickie Botwright said: “We have checked the town centre-controlled CCTV which has not given us any leads and we would appeal for anyone in the area with private CCTV to help us. We are also keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to us.”
Two 15-year-old boys have been bailed by police pending further inquiries until November 29.
