A BEACH wheelchair racing championship has been organised by Great Yarmouth Tourism with Centre 81, a day centre for people aged 18 and over in Yarmouth and surrounding areas who have a physical or sensory disability.
A BEACH wheelchair racing championship has been organised by Great Yarmouth Tourism with Centre 81, a day centre for people aged 18 and over in Yarmouth and surrounding areas who have a physical or sensory disability.
Five Centre 81 members will compete in the final on Central Beach, behind the Marina Centre, following heats staged on June 1 and June 8.
The Mayor of Yarmouth, Tony Smith, and his wife Sara, the mayoress, will start the race at 2.30pm on Monday and will present a trophy to the winner and medals to all finalists.
