A Norwich inquest heard yesterday that Dean Clark, from Beatty Road, Yarmouth, a chef in Norwich city centre, had visited Shoosh bar in Prince Of Wales Road, after finishing work.
Greater Norfolk coroner William Armstrong said Mr Clark, who lived with his parents Martin and Valerie Clark, died at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on July 25.
Mr Armstrong said that Slough-born Mr Clark was unconscious after falling down the stairs at Shoosh on Friday, July 24 and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
He was later transferred to Addenbrooke's where he was pronounced dead at about 9pm the following day.
Mr Armstrong said a doctor's report gave the cause of death as a traumatic brain injury.
