Yarmouth festival to boost appeal
SIX hours of non-stop entertainment combined with sports and circus displays will come together at Great Yarmouth Racecourse on Sunday for a unique charity festival.
SIX hours of non-stop entertainment combined with sports and circus displays will come together at Great Yarmouth Racecourse on Sunday for a unique charity festival.
Some of Yarmouth's finest performers including girlband EFX and rockers Canine Feline will take to a purpose-built stage to showcase their talent at Embrace.
In between performances by the six lives acts models from Gorleston High Street hair consultants Fusion will host a catwalk show.
The event, in aid of Palliative Care East, has been organised mainly by Spencer McCormack, director of BWell health clubs, and Jenny Westgate, co-ordinator of the hospital appeal.
The all-day event kicks-off at 10.30am, with an opening address from Lady Knollys, the deputy Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk.
The James Paget's hospital fete will be held at the racecourse on that day from 11am until 5pm.

Other attractions include displays from artists at the Hippodrome Circus in Yarmouth, the North Sea Roller Skating club, martial arts from Phoenix Karate Schools, Bohemians Youth Football Club, and the Charisma Twirling Team.
