A MAN caught fly-tipping in Great Yarmouth has been fined 250 by police.
Officers were called to Apollo Walk shortly after 11am on Tuesday, January 4, after a member of the public spotted a man dumping black rubbish bags.
Police arrived on scene and a 34-year-old man was issued with a 50 fixed penalty notice for littering.
He was then fined 200 for having no insurance for his van and he has been reported to the borough council.
PC Andrew Jones said: “Fly-tipping is a problem across the district and we would encourage anyone who witnesses such incidents to contact police as we will take action against those responsible.”
