Yarmouth man arrested after copper pipe theft

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after copper piping was stolen from the top of a vehicle in Church Lane, Bradwell.

The theft happened in the early hours of Wednesday, April 18.

Police were alerted after suspicious activity was spotted and officers stopped a vehicle in Great Yarmouth a short time later.

The 22-year-old, from the town, was arrested.

He was taken into custody and interviewed before being bailed to return to officers on May 24 pending further enquiries.
