A 30-year-old man has been jailed for 16 months after stealing thousands of pounds from amusement arcades.
Brendan Burt, of Coronation Terrace, Great Yarmouth, who appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday, April 25, pleaded guilty to two burglaries and a theft at business premises in Norfolk in October last year.
He was sentenced for a burglary at Britannia Pier in Yarmouth on October 2, for a theft from a caravan site in Northrepps, near Cromer, on October 3 and a burglary at a holiday park at Caister-on-sea on October 3.
At the Pier, Burt broke into an office at the amusement arcade and stole more than 3,000 in cash. At Caister and Northrepps, he took money from fruit machines.
Burt pleaded guilty to the three offences and was jailed for 16 months, less 174 days spent on remand.
