Yarmouth MP in the clear

Great Yarmouth MP Tony Wright was yesterday given a clean bill of health from a parliamentary watchdog on MPs' second home expenses.

The report by Sir Thomas Legg said that Mr Wright “has no issues” over his expense claims - unlike 390 of his MP colleagues who have been told they must pay back £1.

The report by Sir Thomas Legg said that Mr Wright “has no issues” over his expense claims - unlike 390 of his MP colleagues who have been told they must pay back £1.1m in claims dating from 2004 to 2008.
