Henry Day faced Yarmouth magistrates charged with five counts of gross indecency against the under 16-year-olds at his Young Citizens' Guild camp in Hemsby, near Yarmouth, between 1973 and 1992 and one offence of a serious sexual nature against a boy between 1982 and 1986.
Day, 69, known as Harry, has run the Hemsby charity since 1972 and organised holiday and weekend camps for hundreds of young people to help them develop into responsible adults.
Day, of Wood View, North Walsham, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address and that he had understood the court proceedings.
In July Day appeared before Yarmouth magistrates charged with 11 offences relating to gross indecency against two young boys at Hemsby and in Essex and one offence of perverting the course of justice.
Five of the charges concerned alleged incidents at the Young Citizens' Guild between 1985 and 1990, two related to incidents in Dagenham over the same time period and four counts of inciting two boys to commit gross indecency.
Day will now appear at Norwich Crown Court on November 25 to face all the charges.
Day was awarded the MBE in the 2004 New Year honours list for his voluntary work and he has also received a British Empire medal for his work at the Hemsby camp where youngsters carry out safety patrols on beaches.
The Young Citizens' Guild was set up by Day in Walthamstow in 1957 and he moved the organisation to Hemsby in 1972.
Yesterday Day was granted unconditional bail by magistrates.
