Will Yarmouth pot a top gong at In Bloom?

Eye-catching floral designs commemorating milestones in history will welcome Anglia in Bloom judges to Great Yarmouth on Friday.
Ahead of the visit volunteers were due to be out with last-minute watering and weeding to make sure the town looks as good as it can.
Co-ordinator Sue Hacon said it was more than just flowers with organisers having to prove they could tackle fly-tipping and litter and engage the community.
New for this year were displays commemorating the end of First World War, a century since women won the right to vote, and one hundred years of the British Legion.
Mrs Hacon said she hoped the efforts would help the town improve on last year’s gold award to win best coastal town - an accolade that has previously gone to Hunstanton.
She added that watering was the big issue given the long dry spell with 170 hanging baskets across Yarmouth and Gorleston.
The tour will include the library, Bure Park, The Fishermen’s Hospital and seafront.
