Colour, culture, and community were celebrated when Gorleston cubs visited Great Yarmouth’s only Hindu temple.
The youngsters were welcomed at the Acle Straight place of worship where they enjoyed a presentation about the religion.
Spokesman Vandana Khurana said the interactive event was hosted by the younger wing of VCSEA (Vedic Cultural Society of East Anglia).
She said the activity contributed to the children’s Faiths’ Badge achievement, adding: “It was a pleasure to welcome 22 children and their leaders to the temple.
“The VCSEA hosts events to interact with the community. This was an opportunity for VCSEA kids members Aarushi Khurana, Karan Garg, Esha Singh, Akshaya Khurana, Elena Garg, Hema Laxmi and Aaditya Khurana to interact and share Hindu belief and tradition with other children and touching on the Indian contribution to world.”
