YOUNG people aged 13 to 25 are invited to join SeaChange Arts' new free weekly theatre and performance group at Great Yarmouth Library.

Meeting from 5pm to 7pm on Mondays from September 6, the group has been funded by the working neighbourhoods fund and supported by the library.

The group will be run by professional actress Lucy Enskat, the artistic director of Hocus Pocus Theatre Company.

The sessions will focus on creating devised pieces and comic characters, improvisation, street theatre, clowning, comedy sketches and cabaret, as well as fun drama games.

“This is a really exciting opportunity for young people in the area to get involved with,” said Laurie Miller-Zutshi, creative producer at SeaChange Arts.

“Participants will get to work with a professional artist and develop their skills in performance. They will also get the chance to put on their very own performance at Great Yarmouth Library later on in the year.”

Anyone interested is invited to call Laurie on 01493 846187 or email creativelearning@seachangearts.org.uk
