A HOMELESS teenager who kidnapped a Great Yarmouth motorist at gunpoint has been sent to a young offenders’ institution for two years.
Peter Watts, 19, stopped the car in North Drive, Yarmouth on August 13 by pointing a gun at the driver and then forced the 27-year-old driver to go to Salisbury Road before getting out.
Watts then stood outside a kebab shop threatening police officers before being tackled and disarmed by a kebab shop worker.
He pleaded guilty to kidnap and possession of an imitation firearm at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday.
