Hospital St Johns A beat two-man BSC 8-2 but Sugar bounced back with a good win, 10-0 over Hospital A.

Gorleston Conservatives are still setting the pace in Division Two where they beat Kings Church Centre D 10-0.

Hospital Telecom played out a draw against Acle B. Kings Church C played newcomer Darren Smith who, although he played well, could not win a game against the experienced Claydon team who had Michael Edwards unbeaten. A good game between Alan Williams and Alan Yardy saw the latter triumph 2l-19 in the third. With an 8-2 victory, Claydon move into second spot in Division Two.

In the derby, Beacons took the honours 7-3 against Mill Lane A. This was a hard fought game but surprisingly none went to three. John Smith/Mike Harvey and the dependable Derk Humphries (playing at the last minute) all won two but the star was unbeaten Colin Fortescue. Jackie Fortescue and Josh Baxter played well with no rewards.

St Johns B are just holding top spot in Division One and Gorl Cons are pulling away at the top of Division Two.

The most improved player has been Stuart Baxter with 29 wins from 33.

The Town handicap singles will be played at Northgate on Tuesday, March 4 start at 7pm.

Random doubles (draw for partners) will be held on Thursday, March 6 at Northgate. entry at 7pm.
