Great Yarmouth Swimming Club were delighted to have one of their swimmers selected to compete at the recent British Summer National Championships.
Honey Harvey was invited to swim at the British Summer Nationals at Ponds Forge Sheffield for a third consecutive year.
The top 25 swimmers in each age group in Great Britain were invited by the ASA with Honey taking part in one of her favourite events, the 200m breaststroke. She competed well but on this occasion didn’t reach the final.
She was then invited again for the England Summer National meet, also at Ponds Forge, where the top 20 competed in the 100m breaststroke. Honey swam exceptionally well, reaching the final in which she was placed fifth, knocking nearly a second off her personal best in the process, with an impressive time of 1.16.69.
Everyone at the club is extremely proud of Honey’s achievements.
