Martham Judo Club competed at the regional championships and came away with 17 medals.
The club now has eight new regional champions and some of these were competing for the first time.
There were excellent performances from all the club members who found themselves up against top opposition from clubs from across East Anglia.
Results: Gold: Jake Rix, Daniel Sneddon, Beth Coston, Thomas Coston, Geneva Fish, Jewelene Fish, Charley Bullen, Archie Mingay. Silver: Jasmine Rix, Megan Hawthorn, Gracie Mingay, Tasha Sneddon. Bronze: Emeral Fish, Chris Allman, Haydon Wright, Jacob Nudd, Martha Connelly.
The club is coached by Jemma Thomas, former international judo champion turned professional MMA fighter. They train every Thursday at Martham Village Hall. Anyone wishing to join can contact Jemma on 07943 094248 of turn up at 5pm on a Thursday evening.
