A short excursion along the coast for the seventh staging of the annual Lowestoft Promenade Five Miler saw 11 members of Great Yarmouth Road Runners in action.
Glorious sunshine and an onshore breeze greeted the runners on a day that brought out the day-trippers and beach-hut residents.
There were age category wins for Simon Bekker, Lorrain Dawson and John Bone as well as several new personal best times.
Overall it was a fun morning with a big vote of thanks going to the officials, including the club’s very own Pauline Leeves.
