Caister 1 Long Stratton 4

Caister entertained Long Stratton on a windswept Easter Monday at Allendale Road in a game the high-flying visitors dominated from the start. Stratton had the best of the first 20 minutes and took the lead after a good move down the left.

Caister equalised when Hack ran at the Long Stratton defence and played the ball through to Crawley, who finished well. Stratton then took the lead again through a well-worked set play routine and header that gave Flaxman no chance. In the mean time the industrious Lines had made a goalline clearance.

Within minutes of the second half starting Caister could have equalised when two shots were blocked at close range. However, Stratton continued to control the match and scored two more goals giving them a deserved victory. Next game game is at home to Sprowston Athletic (kick-off 1.30pm, meet 12.15pm).
