Gorleston's excellent start to the season continued last night when they beat Thetford Town 2-0 at Emerald Park to maintain their 100pc record in the Premier Division of the Thurlow Nunn League.
The Greens made it four wins out of four thanks to second half goals from Bradley Hough (47 minutes) and Ricci Butler (81).
As result they moved up to second place in the table, three points behind early pace-setters Dereham Town, who have won all five of their league fixtures.
In last night's other Thurlow Nunn League game Great Yarmouth Town were beaten 1-0 at home by Team Bury.
It was the Bloaters' fifth straight defeat in all competitions.
