Gorleston FC have had a mixed week of results, losing 4-0 away to Coggeshall Utd last weekend and then drawing 2-2 away to Stowmarket Town on Tuesday night.

Saturday's game saw Coggeshall take the lead in the 42nd minute.

Four minutes into the second half the hosts doubled their lead.

The hosts went 3-0 up on the 54th with the scorer of that goal Osude then converting a penalty in the 70th minute.

Gorleston bounced back well from Saturday's disappointment to earn a valuable point on Tuesday night, and were unfortunate not to take home all three.

The Greens scored in the fourth minute.

Fletcher decided to try his luck from 25 yards, hitting a shot that bounced over the Stowmarket keeper's outstretched arm and into the net.

The home side equalised in the 18th minute. Gorleston then took a 2-1 lead in the 50th minute.

Fletcher chased the ball to the byline and pulled it back to Jamie North, 22 yards out on the right corner of the penalty area.

North picked his spot and curled a sublime left footed effort into the far top corner of the goal.

However, lady luck wasn't smiling on the Greens just after the hour mark when Ellis Girling miss hit a cross from the right which evaded everyone, deceived keeper Jake Jessup and dropped down just under the bar into the far side of the goal.

The Greens return to the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium on Saturday.

Seventh placed Grays Athletic are the visitors for the 3pm kick off.

On Tuesday night, Hullbridge Sports visit the Greens.

Great Yarmouth Town suffered a 3-1 away defeat last Saturday to Holland FC. The Bloaters are away to Harwich & Parkeston on Saturday afternoon.
