IT has been a memorable year for Enya Tooke who has won selection for the Norwich City Centre of Excellence Academy.
Enya, from Bradwell, was one of the select few girls chosen from the 250 trialists for the academy's U12 squad.
Previously captain of Gorleston Rangers U11 Girls, Enya's new role will see her competing against the likes of Arsenal, Ipswich, Colchester and Watford.
She was part of the Woodlands Middle School team that became national champions, winning the English Schools Football Association finals at Wembley in May.
Her mum Deborah said: “Enya's passion for football has always been immense, and combined with her positive attitude and caring nature she should do very well.
“All family, friends and associates of Gorleston Rangers FC wish her continued success for her future. Well done Enya everyone is extremely proud of you.”
