The Men's A team hold the current outdoor title and now the indoor Men's a side are also county champions, writes Brian Grint.
The indoor team needed three points from the last two games. A dash down the Acle Straight took them to the first of these games, against Browston.
John Marshall, Petor Cator, Patrick Willimott and Tim Stone were 6-2 up at five ends but by 11 ends the opposition, skipped by Peter Hurren, had come back to 11-9. By 15 it was 13-11 and from here the Acle lads took charge and went on to win 23-11.
Rob Fulcher, Bernard Willimott, Daniel Noble and Lewis Moore were honours even at nine ends, seven each. By 14 it was 10-9. At this point age made a difference with the Acle youths going 18-9 at 18 and winning 19-12.
Mark Elliott, Wyn Willimot, Denis Goodley and Tony Dunton were nine each at 10 ends, 13-15 at 15 and with three ends to play Trevor Gowen's rink looked confident at 14-18, but conjuror Tony scored a five on the 19th and another five on the 21st and won 24-18.

Ian Willimott, Arthur Joliffe, Jamie Howlett and George Tubby looked good at nine ends 13-8 up but dropped a five to Dennis Pratt's rink on the 10th. At 13 ends it was 21-13, the final eight ends were closely contested and the game finished 23-19. Result: 89-60 and all seven points to clinch the championship.
The final game was against County Arts and Tony Dunton's rink dropped a five on the 12th to go 14 each, but dropped one more shot to win 29-15. Lewis Moore's rink scored a six on the 7th and a five on the 12th to lead 24-4 and went on to win 29-11. George Tubby's rink scored three fours in their 25-15 win and Robin Norman's rink lost 12-22. Result: 95-63 (6-1 points), winning the county title by 10 points.
