THE first half of this league fixture was one of Acle's poorest performances this season. They started poorly, conceded two sloppy goals through bad mistakes and could have easily gone in at half-time more than the two goals down. Dersingham were far better in all areas.

The second half Acle looked up for the challenge. They soon reduced the deficit through Bertie, with a left-foot shot, then equalised with Steely netting his first for the club.

Acle were playing with a bit of confidence and putting the visitors on the back foot and soon took the lead with Bertie getting his second with a great strike.

Dersingham levelled the game up with a close-range finish. Acle then went down to 10 men when Bertie was sent off for deliberate handball, and then went 4-3 down.

United equalised with about five minutes to go, Thaine whipping in a corner that went straight into the net.

Acle were very disappointed with their first-half showing, but pleased with the character the players showed in the second half.
