Police were in action again, this time against Yarcons Dynamos and they ground out a draw thanks to a hard-fought maximum by Simon Allen – the doubles proving to be the deciding factor. ENSFC B beat Broadland Club 7-3 with five games going the distance with some superb rallies. Cliff Park Lions gained two points against Yarcon Telcom thanks to two good wins for Josh Baker against Alan Jones and Graham Chapman. Telecom then managed a hard-fought draw when they met Caister Com A where the latter team had to win the doubles to share the spoils. Caister Com B fought hard when they met ENSFC B and went down six games to four. A draw would have been a fair result but they could not clinch the doubles.
