The 3 Lions Kickboxing Gym's Christmas party and end of year awards took place at Peggottys Great Yarmouth last weekend.

It was a full house with over 45 junior members and 20 seniors attending along with families and friends.

The 3 Lions Kickboxing Gym's Christmas party and end of year awards took place at Peggottys Great Yarmouth last weekend.

It was a full house with over 45 junior members and 20 seniors attending along with families and friends. All junior members received a medal for their efforts in 2009.

A special mention was given to three junior members who are current junior England full contact squad members - Dan Dawson, Cameron McGarrigle and Jade Munro.

The 2009 3 Lions awards were: U9 fighter of the year Nicky McHugh (area champion), U9 student of the year Luca McComb (area champion), U13 male student of the year Henry Andrews, U13 female student of the year Jade Marie Campbell, U13 male fighter of the year Ben Mitchell, U13 female fighter of the year Imogen Casey, female prospect of the year Kelsea Carroll, male prospect of the year Cameron McGarrigle (world junior champion), adult student of the year Arron Monson, overall male fighter of the year Dan Dawson (two times world silver medallist), overall female fighter of the year Jade Munro (British and Commonwealth champion and two times world silver medallist).

Coaches Bin Tyler, Dave Munro and Frank Crosswell thanked all parents and sponsors who helped the club in 2009.
