Great Yarmouth Hockey Club received a boost thanks to the support of local bankers. Barclays Bank has donated £300.00 towards the purchase of new hockey shirts for the team.

Great Yarmouth Hockey Club received a boost thanks to the support of local bankers. Barclays Bank has donated £300.00 towards the purchase of new hockey shirts for the team.

Karen Cross, Community Relations Officer at Barclays said: “This is a great opportunity for Barclays to make a real and lasting difference by supporting the Great Yarmouth Hockey Club with the purchase of new shirts for the new season. We are committed to looking after local communities by supporting a broad range of causes.”

Clare Patterson, club captain from Great Yarmouth Hockey Team added: “We are delighted that Barclays has been able to support us and we think its fantastic that Barclays has such a strong community programme where Club's like us can benefit. We are totally reliant on donations, as a Club we believe in youth development to support our first team in the East Anglian League. This donation will enable us to buy a full set of shirts for one of our teams and we thank Barclays for their generosity.”
