London Ultramarathon 50k is the ideal step-up from marathon to ultra marathon for anybody wanting to test themselves at the next level. London’s Capital Ring provides a wonderful waymarked route which is easy to follow and can be run at marathon pace. Matthew Sutton took on the challenge and finished in 5-20 as he managed to get lost three times and ran 37 miles instead of the somewhat shorter, correct distance of only 31 miles. Well done Matthew.
