From the start it was evident that the Bloaters were going to have a fruitful day as they got on the scoresheet as early as the third minute when Nick Crawley scored the first of his hat-trick.

It followed good work involving Dyer, who played a great cross-field ball for Johnny Watt to find Stewart Roach in the middle. His quick thinking and deft header set up Crawley, running in from the left, who produced an excellent opening goal.

March tried hard and had a half-chance go just wide on 10 minutes.

The next quarter of an hour saw Yarmouth dominating the game with the Hares having to defend in numbers.

Then came the second goal following excellent work by Johnny Watt. He spotted Roach on a run through the middle and his pin-point ball saw the striker just get his foot to the ball to beat the advancing Beeney in the March goal.

On 26 minutes a rare lapse in the Yarmouth defence set up the March No 9 Andy Wayte, but he sent his shot high and wide.

From the goal kick the Bloaters stormed forward and won a throw on the right which was taken by Adam Sewell. The ball was headed on by Roach to Crawley who, with a sharp turn, shot into the top corner for probably the best goal scored at the Wellesley this season.

It was all Yarmouth and the March defence was struggling to keep a rampant Yarmouth at bay. On 35 minutes good work by Roach played in Crawley, who hit the bar. On 40 minutes Crawley was played in by Sewell only to see his header again hit the bar.

With the second half barely a minute old Yarmouth got their fourth goal

with Crawley completing a well-deserved hat-trick.

The Bloaters continued to dominate with March offering very little in return, but it was very late before they completed their nap hand. Liam Bartley, who had previously missed a penalty, was on target.

Overall, an excellent result and a special mention for the management team whose efforts are now starting to bear fruit.
