TOWN Reserves were dominant in a match where they led 4-0 within 20 minutes.

The Bloaters fielded a strong side including first team regulars Stewart Roach and Jake Reed. Both had found the back of the net within 12 minutes, Roach scoring after 10 minutes from a Vida Formoso cross which the experienced striker finished with a scooping header.

Reed finished from close range after Mark Thompson's effort was parried. Both these goals came after Joe Bell opened the scoring after only two minutes, the full back's cross finding its way into the net.

Roach completed the first-half scoring with his second header of the match.

Yarmouth made two changes at half-time with Martin Goulder and Formoso making way for Adam Blanch and Lee Roscoe. The Bloaters' dominance continued with the deadly duo of Reed and Roach in amongst the goals.

Reed made it five with a close-range finish from a Thompson cross and Roach made it six four minutes later after another Thompson cross to get his hat-trick.

Reed scored a late double to take his personal tally to four goals, his third coming from an expert turn which wrong-footed the Whitton defence, then he rounded the keeper to cheekily head the ball across the line.

Whitton netted in the closing stages.

Tomorrow at the Wellesley the reserves host Thetford Town 3pm.
