Surprisingly - and ominously - they have not yet won at home in the league, losing to Cornard and Debenham and drawing with Thetford, Newmarket and Diss.

Since the Bloaters and the Bloods renewed acquaintance in Division One, Yarmouth have lost all three times at Catons Lane and only registered their first win in last season's final game to scupper Walden's promotion hopes, writes Gerry Brown.

The Bloaters will need to display their own promotion credentials very strongly tomorrow if they are going to reverse recent history.

The team bus will be leaving the clubhouse at 11am prompt, and any supporters are welcome.

After a week off, the Reserves return to action with a home game against Oulton Broad and Notleys in Anglian Combination Division Two (2pm).

Yarmouth are third and Broad eighth. Yarmouth lost their second game of the season at Broad, 3-1.

The Youth have no game this week, the next scheduled fixture being at home to Dereham on November 19.

This is followed by two meetings at home with Lowestoft Town, first in the league (November 26) and then in the League Cup (December 4).

Next Saturday (November 15), the Bloaters' first team have a change to the published fixture.

Instead of Cornard United at the Wellesley it will be Godmanchester Rovers.

Dale Gordon's Legends Bar will welcome legends of both Norwich City and Ipswich Town on Thursday, December 4, when the two East Anglian rivals clash in an evening entitled “A Question of Sport”.

Ahead of the East Anglian derby on the Sunday following, Legends is hosting Radio Norfolk's “The Scrimmage” at 6pm followed by a quiz featuring Bryan Gunn, Jason Dozzell and other former greats of the two clubs.

Admission is £15 and tickets and further information can be obtained from Dale Gordon on 07702 253229.
