Entertaining Halvergate, the home side recorded a 49-shot victory, 97-48, taking maximum points for their efforts.

The academy block of Mick Patterson, Craig Watson and Gary Hewitt led the way winning 25-9.

Visiting Fleggburgh Private, a further six points were obtained from a 25-shot success, 82-57.

The home side could not contain the trio of Mike Fisher, Sid Siely and Jeff Watson who romped home 25-7.

In the Broadland League Martham hit top form at home to Ludham, winning on all rinks to secure seven points.

The honours of top block went to Roy Land, Julian Tuttle and Eric Faircloth who won 22-15.

Salhouse Bell, however, proved to be a more difficult proposition when they visited with three rinks losing.

Martham were thankful to the female threesome of Madeline Balls, Sandra Faircloth and Edna Land, who salvaged a point winning a ding-dong affair by one shot.
