Broadland-Great Yarmouth II 33 Norwich III 0

Broadland-Great Yarmouth Tigers (2nd XV) had a comprehensive win as they hosted Norwich 3rds. The Tigers’ mix of pace on the outside and considerable weight advantage in the pack was utilised to full effect. Scrum Half Darren Moorehouse managed to squeeze through for an early score (Converted Payne) and this was followed shortly by Nathan Bensley powering over (Converted Payne) Some good running in the midfield from Leighton Buckley, saw the centre make a break to score (unconverted) this left the score at 19-0.

The Second half saw Norwich push Broadland, but stern defence and some good clearance kicks from Ant Payne, kept them off the score board. Wing Lewis Gallie broke to score from the Wing (Converted) and The Tigers fifth try was scored by Ant Payne (converted). To provide a comprehensive league win. A special mention must go to Broadland players Sean Howley and Jimmy Dwyer who went on for Norwich who were traveling without replacements.
