The men’s section at Gorleston Golf Club played the Todd and Turner competition, a four ball better ball stableford.
The winners with 45 points were Ray Pope and Stuart Pearce, with Glen Lark and Steve Hall second on countback on 41 points.
The ladies’ section played for the Flag Trophy and in fine weather the winner was Rosemary Woodhouse who took the flag down the 19th hole to card a nett 72, from Pauline Phillips in second with 73 on countback from Terri Wilkinson.
The winner at the finals day for the men’s summer stableford was David Church with a superb 45 points, with David Tungate second on 41. This season’s winner with an aggregate of 310 from eight competitions was Steve Allen.
The Monthly Mixed Foursomes Stableford was won by Rosemary Hodgkin and Joost Van Den Boogaard with 41 points from Edna Langston and Paul Platten with 36 on countback from Jean and Gerry Eagling.
