CHAMPIONS AGAIN: A team of Kwik Cricket players from Caister Junior School went to Rollesby Cricket Club to take part in the Eastern Region tournament. In very blustery but sunny conditions, Caister won all their matches to go into a semi-final against Wroughton, beating them to meet Woodlands in the final. This was a very exciting game with both sides playing some excellent cricket for their ages. The final score was Woodlands 212-6 and Caister 265-3, meaning Caister held onto the trophy for the second year running. Both Caister and Woodlands will represent the eastern region at the county final on Tuesday at Horsford Cricket Club. The whole team played very good cricket all day, encouraging each other all the time, but one player, Kane Hatton, was outstanding and was rewarded in a celebration school assembly.
