CAISTER travelled up the coast to play Wells on a blustery Saturday afternoon in a must-win game for them following their below par performance the week before against Scole in Anglian Combination Division One.

Their players were told to forget thinking about the game and go and do what they do best, and that is play football - attack from the start and enjoy it.

The pitch was to Caister's liking, big and flat, but it took a bit of time for them to come to terms with the wind. They often over-hit the through ball.

However, this changed when Adam scored the first of his hat-trick goals.

Caister started to create numerous chances which went unpunished but five minutes before half-time a good passage of play saw Adam get his second with a delightful chip which effectively killed the game.

At the break Caister were told that if they kept the ball against the wind they would win the game, and that's exactly what they did.

Kevin came off after 70 minutes after another impressive display.

Adam scored his third and Nickey toe-punted Caister's fourth after a blistering turn of foot took him away from the defender.

Caister were still creating chances up to the final whistle, which was pleasing.

No game this week. Training on Tuesday and Thursday at the Allendale.
