well done to all Caister HIGH’S rounders teams: The YR7, YR8, YR9 and YR10 teams sailed through the first round of fixtures to secure places in the finals.
Caister’s YR10 team faced Acle, Cliff Park and Flegg in a three-way tie at the top. After a closely-fought battle, Caister secured second place, closely trailing Acle High by one rounder.
Caister’s YR9 team also triumphed at the top. After battling against Acle, Yarmouth, Cliff Park and Flegg through the torrential rain and wind, Caister won their league and became district champions.
Caister’s YR8 team also battled the best in the district to secure the title of district champions. This is the third year running this team have come out top.
