Caister 3 Dersingham 4
In a game between two form sides at different ends of the Anglian Combination Division One table second-placed Dersingham took the lead after 10 minutes with a well-taken quick free kick. Dersingham made it two when the unlucky Blake headed past his own keeper from a long throw.
Caister started to come into the game and pulled one back through the hard-working Johnson.
A great through ball found Fitzgerald but as he rounded the keeper Caister were surprised to see the flag up. Dersingham then went 3-1 ahead when a mix-up at the back saw Lambert bring down a striker and the penalty was duly dispatched.
Dersingham went 4-1 up early in the second half with Caister down to 10 men with Lines being treated for a head injury. Lines was replaced by Applegate who played a strong 30 minutes in centre midfield. Caister pulled one back after Ward dispatched a penalty after Ford had been brought down and Hack pulled another back with a fine back-post header. MoM: Kieran Hack.
