Caldecott Hall Golf Club's past senior captains and Peter Clements, the current club captain, met in a stableford competition to commemorate the new seniors/juniors captains' board which has recently been placed in the clubhouse.

The winner of the event with 35 points was Peter Clements, Frank McLoughlin was second with 34 points and Bill Beer was third with 32 points. Peter declared himself ineligible to accept the first prize as he was far too young to be a senior.

The prize therefore went to Frank McLoughlin the current seniors' captain, who donated it to the main club to be used as a raffle prize.

Frank said it was an honour to play in such distinguished company and thanked the club's management committee for their generosity paying for the board.

Alix McSweeney the 2008 senior captain was unable to attend due to ill health.

The juniors were represented by Bill Beer, the current organiser, as Matty Banyard the junior captain was attending college.

Frank hoped the contest would become an annual event.
