Yarmouth Sunday league (Cliff Hotel)

The KO cup final took place between Camden Tavern and Martham Sunday and it was the more experienced Camden side who ran out 3-1 winners, so belated congratulations to them.

Last Sunday saw more teams turn up on the Mag than there were pitches available, for which I did try and apologise for. However the four games that did go ahead ended as folllows, Camden Tavern finished their league season in defeating gorleston Albion 5-2, and now look forward to their Norfolk County Sunday Senior cup final, to be played at Carrow Road on Wednesday, May 16,kick-off, 7.30pm. I’m sure all support for the Camden on this special night would be greatly appreciated in their effort to bring the Senior Cup back to Gt Yarmouth for the second time in their history.

El Sol ran out 4-0 victors over Tramway, as they warmed up for their League Cup final with Windmill, who themselves went goal crazy with a 13, 14, or was it 15-1 win over White Sox.

The only second division match to take place saw Leisureland edge out Lichfield Arms 3-2.

More belated congratulations, this time to Butts and Torzey, and their Saturday side Haven Bridge United, who last Friday travelled to Dereham and won the Norfolk Primary Cup in their first season- Glyn Gray.
