An exciting Yarmouth Table Tennis League match saw ENSFC A draw with Kings Church A. Curtis Beales played an excellent game against Martyn Clarke and there was some good play from Mike Woolston. Lewis Carby won two for Church which played a good part in the draw.
Burrage won 8-2 against Gorl Cons. Ray Lee won three for Yarcons A but could not stop Yarcons Dynamos taking the match at 6-4. Although St Johns won 8-2 against Yarcon Police, several games were close. St Johns B had a good 8-2 win over Yarcons A. Matt Current playing up, put in a good performance.
Gorl Cons, with only two players, put up a fight against Police. Reg Cadmore took two and Albert one but they lost 3-7. St Johns beat Yarcon Sparks 8-2. Caister B had a good 7-3 win over Mill Lane where the outstanding match was between Gavin Brewer and Colin Fortescue. Gavin won a four-setter. Caister C A A won 7-3 against the Cliff Park Lions. Broadland lost 0-10 to Caister C A A. Yarcons Telecom beat Cliff Park Tigers’ 10-0.
