For the third year running the league will be represented in the Sunday Senior Cup final as El Sol won their replay 2-1 against Norman Wanderers to reach Carrow Road in their 40th year as a club. They will take on Marlborough on April 5.

In the league, Camden Tavern re-gained top spot despite being held to a 2-2 draw at Sunningdale Boys, however Archers are now favourites for the title following their impressive display in beating previous leaders Norton Athletic 5-2.

Having already met Camden twice, Archers are just a point behind with a game in hand so they are in charge of their destiny - although there is a long way left yet.

The second division title looks almost a forgone conclusion as Nothing Special were held 1-1 at Dukes. This means they are eight points adrift of Newtown Golfers with just five games remaining.

There was also a draw on the Beaco as Camden Tavern Reserves and Rollesby shared four

goals whereas on the pitch next door Memphis Belton picked up their first win of the season as they edged past King's Arms Crusaders by the odd goal of five.

The third division looks to be heading to Windmill as they defeated third-placed Hembsy 5-2 to open up an eight-point advantage. Rampart Signs picked up three points as they won 3-2 at Sun FC.

This week sees the league KO Cup and KO Plate quarter-final ties.

Clubs are reminded that if they are the home side they need to phone the result into Steven Bishop by 6pm or face a fine.

Result cards should also be with him by Wednesday or again face a fine. Any problems Scott Yarham 07901 825648
