Great Yarmouth and District Football League

THE league will open its 102nd league season tomorrow with Reedham visiting the champions Catfield, who will be looking to win a fifth straight league title, and an improved Lacon Arms away to last season's Division Two double winners The Albion FC.

Bohemians will be making their debut Division Two and will face a stern test in MK United Reserves. The other new side, The Feathers will wait a week to open their season and the league as always wishes all the teams in the GYDFL the very best for the coming season.

On a sad note the league would like to pass its best wishes for a speedy recovery to Reedham's Jamie Brown who suffered a nasty injury in a friendly.

Note it is the responsibility of the home club to inform the away club of any potential kit clashes and it is then up to the away club to provide a change of kit.

Would clubs note that all result cards must be sent to the fixture secretary by 6pm on a Tuesday after the match.

Also, would clubs text results to 07788 592529 on Saturday evening so the league tables and website can be updatesas soon as possible.

League website is www.full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?league=1378480 or use gydfl.com and follow the link. This is where you will find all league tables, cup draws and fixtures and all club details
