East Norfolk Sixth Form College men’s football squad enjoyed a successful six-day tour to Lloret De Mar in Spain.

During their time in Spain college teams took on two local semi-professional clubs. A stunning Jack Miller strike in the first game saw the college team, captained by Josh Armes, draw game 1-1.

Two days later strikes from Josh Trett, who captained the side, and Shane Smith saw the college take a commanding 2-0 lead into the final minutes of the game before FC Breda hit back to draw 2-2.

A day in Barcelona gave the 21-strong party the chance to tour the Nou Camp home of the European Champions, beaten by Chelsea on Tuesday night, and have their photo taken with the Champions League trophy Chelsea hope to win by beating Bayern Munich next month. Player Joe Larter said: “The tour was even better than I hoped it would be and the day in Barcelona and tour of the Nou Camp just capped off an incredible six days.” Photo: SUPPLIED.
