Over the past week well over 200 children in the borough have been taking part in school Years 3 and 4 cross country races.These events were organised in partnership between Great Yarmouth Borough Council Sports Development Service, East Norfolk Schools Sports Partnership and Great Yarmouth and District Athletic Club.
Over the past week well over 200 children in the borough have been taking part in school Years 3 and 4 cross country races.
These events were organised in partnership between Great Yarmouth Borough Council Sports Development Service, East Norfolk Schools Sports Partnership and Great Yarmouth and District Athletic Club.
Schools that hosted the events were (South) Woodlands Primary and (North) Martham Primary and both these schools provided the ideal settings and weather to run a cross country event.
Winning schools were: South - Year 3 Woodlands Primary; Year 4 Wroughton Primary. North - Year 3 Ormesby Junior; Year 4 Martham Primary.
