IN the HA Holmes League Cup in Group One MK United put one foot in the semi-finals as they made it two wins from two with a win over Tramway.

MK eased to the win with seven different scorers. They next face Lacon Arms in this group on November 14 where a win will secure a path through to the semi-final.

Shrublands avenged their opening group loss as they bounced back to win at Hemsby for the second week running, this time 6-2.

In Group Two, Reedham received a walkover against Yarmouth Peelers while Catfield were 2-1 down with five to go but fought back to win 3-2 and pick up three points against GY International.

In Division One, Lacon Arms saw off Albion FC 3-2 on Mill Lane. Lacons, who scored after only two minutes, led 3-1 at the break. But Albion came back to 3-2 and had a player sent off.

In Division Two, Norfolk and Chance remain three points clear after a 3-1 win at cup specialists Prostar Windows. Bohemians, despite conceding their first league goal of the season, remain second after they defeated Martham A 5-1. These two clubs have a quick rematch this week at Martham.

South Yarmouth and Caister was called off while Gorleston Wanderers moved off the bottom with a point from a 1-1 draw at Carpathians. Feathers also recorded their first league win,

3-1 win over GY United, while MK United Reserves defeated Paperclip 6-0 On Mill Lane.

This week there are four Norfolk Junior Cup ties with 1.45 pm kick-offs. There are also three rearranged Wiltshire Cup games at 1.30pm which must finish on the day. Teams exiting the Wiltshire Cup this season in rounds one or two will go into the Percy Nockolds Plate competition after Christmas.
