GORLESTON Football Club has announced the appointment of Richard Daniels as manager.
Assistant coach Daniels stepped into the Emerald Park hot-seat following resignation of Jon White.
White, who took over as boss at the start of last season, announced he was quitting last week.
“It has become a very difficult job to do under the current circumstances,” White said.
“It was not my intention to resign as I was determined to get our club promoted.
“I am disappointed and like to wish the players all the best for the coming season.
“I'd like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to manage my hometown club, although I'm gutted about my decision to leave.”
A club statement said: “We would like to thank Jon for his services to the club and wish him all the very best.”
